Welcome Marilee Lloyd
HED welcomes Marilee Lloyd to the firm as Associate and Senior Laboratory Planner in our Detroit office. She will oversee laboratory planning for both public and private sector clients and is supported by an established technical team of Architects, Engineers and Designers across the country.
With more than 34 years of experience in Architecture, Construction, Design and Planning, Marilee is well respected for her passion and strategic design skills. Her approach is collaborative; working seamlessly with clients, stakeholders, technical and leadership staff in finding the best solutions to service each individual project. Prior to joining HED, Marilee led laboratory planning initiatives and project teams as a Senior Laboratory Planner and Principal Laboratory Architect for SmithgroupJJR and CH2M HILL out of Detroit and Pittsburgh.
Marilee believes that any successful project must work both in terms of technical efficiency and with the user experience in mind – creating a space where people want to work that is not only functional and safe, but that stimulates collaboration and drives innovation. Her experience and enthusiasm will be integral to HED's mission; Advancing Your World.
