HED was the Executive Architect for this major high-rise project. The Carlyle is a 24-story, 87-unit building over a four-level subterranean parking structure with 271 parking spaces. The project site is on a 38,000 SF parcel on Wilshire Boulevard, located in the heart of Westwood, in an area of the city called “The Gold Coast.” The building offers amenities such as a fitness center, library and private dining with a private kitchen salon and wine cave.

There is a separate elevator for each unit at every floor - a total of four elevators, plus a freight and garage elevator. The exterior is clad with pre-cast Indiana limestone, sand-blasted concrete, and a low-E glass curtain wall.
