Adaptable and secure
When looking for a design partner to work with them on a series of built-to-suit office and lab buildings, known as the Information Technology buildings, Northrup Grumman turned to HED for its experience in high-performing technical spaces and sophisticated workplace design. The three buildings, united by a central atrium, total 234,000 SF, located in the Lennar Partners Spectrum Corporate Center in San Diego, CA.

The interior spaces include a variety of work typologies to encourage movement and comfort while maintaining security, including open and private offices, large and small conference rooms, training rooms, a full-service commercial kitchen and cafeteria, small server/IDF rooms, 7/24 electronic laboratories, support rooms, and supporting ancillary space. The central atrium hosts large conference functions and serves as a flexible conversion space for adjacent smaller conferences and lunchrooms.
