Planning for progress.
Flexible for the ever-evolving needs of medical research.
Leading the way
The Feinberg School of Medicine (FSM) recently completed a phased multi-year master plan renovation and modernization of its medical school research facilities. The project creates state-of-the-art medical research space to retain and attract the best Principal Investigators in the medical field and to reinforce FSM’s position as an international leader in medical research.
The project consisted of complete demolition and construction of BSL two wet research labs, support spaces and offices, as well as major upgrades to the building infrastructure and technology components. The laboratory layout is designed to be highly flexible and adaptable, utilizing mobile lab casework and overhead service carriers that can be reconfigured to accommodate changes in priorities, processes or new research modalities.
