Seaside Residence Hall, Pepperdine University
Malibu, CA
Coming home.
Campus life, residential experience.
Pepperdine University is home to a robust International Studies program that has been ranked for three years as the #1 university in the nation for the highest percentage of study abroad participation by the Institute of International Education. As students return from their studies abroad, the University has made it a strategic priority to enhance the Junior Year experience for them by offering privacy and the enhanced amenities sought by upperclassmen. HED has been selected to design the Seaside Residence Hall and the building’s flexible suites configuration offers living space for 458 students as well as community programs. The buildings create a “residential colleges” precinct linked by walkways and shared open spaces offering new students an educational environment conducive to community and building relationships with other students, as well as resident faculty.
