HED Sector Leader Todd Drouillard appointed to State of Michigan Construction Code Commission
HED is pleased to announce that our Detroit Science & Technology Sector Leader Todd Drouillard, AIA, has been appointed to the State of Michigan Construction Code Commission, representing the architecture discipline. Todd holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and Master of Architecture from Lawrence Technological University in Michigan and will serve for a term ending in 2023.

The Construction Code Commission of Michigan was created in 1972 to improve the quality of housing for Michigan residents while assisting the housing industry. Of the 17 commission members, 12 are appointed by the Governor, with the advice and consent of the Senate.
"To be selected is both an honor and a call to service for the discipline and the state," says Drouillard, "I have always believed that as a practitioner of architecture its my professional and personal responsibility to create positive impact for my community and clients with my work. I have served on several boards with the local American Institute of Architects chapter, and I see this appointment as an extension of that - utilizing the knowledge gained through my training and career to do good for others."
