"To be selected is both an honor and a call to service for the discipline and the state," says Drouillard, "I have always believed that as a practitioner of architecture its my professional and personal responsibility to create positive impact for my community and clients with my work. I have served on several boards with the local American Institute of Architects chapter, and I see this appointment as an extension of that - utilizing the knowledge gained through my training and career to do good for others."
