Healthcare Sector Leader Sharon Woodworth honored with Bisnow Bay Area Powerful Women in Real Estate designation
HED is proud to share that Healthcare Sector Leader Sharon Woodworth is among the honorees at the Bay Area chapter of Bisnow's upcoming Power Women event, which honors and celebrates the current and future generation of women leaders in real estate. This Bay Area Women in Leadership event will highlight the success of women in the commercial real estate industry and bring together some of the industry's most powerful and influential women to honor them and their accomplishments and provide education, networking, and resources for professional development.

About Sharon
Sharon Woodworth is known for driving change in healthcare operations through architectural design. After careers in nursing and journalism, she received her master’s degree in architecture dedicated to the design of healthcare environments. In addition to practicing architecture full-time, she is an Assistant Professor at UCSF teaching “Leadership in Healthcare Environments” to future healthcare CEOs. She recognizes the value of research-based initiatives from LEED and EDAC to Magnet Recognition. Her designs embrace diverse cultural perspectives from the United Kingdom to Asia and continuum of care issues from neonatology to senior living. In 2017, the AIA elevated Ms. Woodworth to the College of Fellows for outstanding influence in the field of healthcare design.
